Prakhar Jain |

Prakhar Jain is a research associate at CPR, and works on the intersection of urban sanitation policy and practice.

Previously, he has worked with Global Water Intelligence (GWI) in UK analysing market trends for water and wastewater services in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Canada, Belgium, Ireland and South Korea and co-developing a water and wastewater capital improvement project tracker for the United States. He has also been a researcher with International the Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), working on the convergence of inland navigation and integrated water resource management and conceptualizing a multi-modal transport model for the Ganges-Brahmaputra basin.

Prakhar has an MSc in water science, policy and management from University of Oxford and been trained as a civil engineer, from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.
