Preeti Venkatram |

Preeti Venkatram is a research associate at CPR and works with the CPR-Namati Environmental Justice Program. In the past, she has interned with Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) and Action for Children’s Environments (ACE).

Ms Venkatram holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Lady Shri Ram College and a master’s degree in environment and development from Ambedkar University, Delhi. She is particularly interested in environmental psychology, and her theses explored this concept.

As president of Lady Shri Ram College’s Environment Society, Prakriti, and as an International Climate Champion selected by the British Council and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), she implemented a year-long project titled Green Your Campus. The aim of the project was to sensitise students and faculty towards the environment, by changing attitudes and practices, and promoting an eco-friendly model for ‘greening’ one’s campus.
