Sandeep Bhardwaj

FORMER RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

Sandeep Bhardwaj was a research associate at CPR, specializing in terrorism and South Asian geopolitics. He has worked in the field of security research in India and the US. Originally trained as an engineer, he has a master’s degree in international relations from the University of Chicago. Prior to that, he worked as a research officer at the Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies, focusing on the political and security scenario in Bangladesh. He has also worked as a journalist at the Daily News & Analysis in Ahmedabad.

Mr Bhardwaj has contributed chapters in two books: Armed Conflicts in South Asia, 2009, and Indian Foreign Policy 2010. He has co-authored a report on Crime and National Security for the National Commission for Centre-State Relations. He has also written articles and research papers for various magazines, newspapers and journals, including the Indian Express, Indian Foreign Affairs Journal, DNA, Design Principles and Practices: An International Journal, Mainstream Weekly etc. He regularly airs his view on Indian History issues at revisitingindia.com.
