Anindita Adhikaari was a research associate at CPR with the Accountability Initiative, working in collaboration with the Effective States and Inclusive Development Research Centre at the University of Manchester. Her research focuses on the politics of inclusive development in the newly formed states of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. Prior to joining CPR, she worked with the Government of Bihar and the Ministry of Rural Development, and has considerable research and policy advocacy experience in the implementation of India’s public entitlement programmes. She has also been associated with the people’s movement on the right to work. Ms Adhikaari received her master’s in development studies from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex.
