Jaidev Joshi was a Research Associate at CPR, wherein he was engaged with the task of developing an understanding and, subsequently, responding to the contemporary challenges facing Urban Water and Sanitation Sector in India from multidisciplinary avenues.
He read for a Master of Science degree (by Research) in Water Resources Management from UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, Delft, The Netherlands, and has been trained as an urban planner from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. His research interest situates in exploring the socio-nature processes and transformation; primarily with the objective of laying bare the underlying political ecology of resource transformation and appropriation and ascertaining how this transformation spews uneven socio-ecological and spatial outcomes.
