About the Discussion
As India prepares to replace its two-decades-old Information Technology Act with a new Digital India Act, how intermediaries get classified will form the bedrock of new legislation. In light of this, TQH has developed a framework for the classification of intermediaries that can lend itself to a proportionate and risk-based approach to regulation. At this roundtable, they will present this proposed framework to seek feedback, and follow it with a discussion on its merits and demerits and alternative approaches. The discussion will be anchored by CPR.
