Vastav was a Research Associate at CPR’s Accountability Initiative. He was working on tracking budgetary and policy commitments for National Rural Drinking Water Programme and part of a study on analysing financial instruments and identifying effective ways to improve the management of water resources between Union and States. He is also interested in public health issues, climate change and the role of technology in enhancing Public Service Delivery.
Prior to joining AI, he worked with Pratham on issues related to education and at UNESCO-MGIEP under Professor Nandini Chatterjee Singh conducted a study on evaluating game based socio-emotional learning (SEL) assessments and Skill Building for adolescents across five countries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from Karunya University.
