Ekta Joshi was a research associate at CPR. She was working on the Chhattisgarh PAISA study, which aims to track fund flows and implementation processes for government schemes in health and education.
She has an undergraduate degree in physics from Delhi University, and an MSc in economics from the Madras School of Economics. Before coming to CPR, Ms Joshi interned with the higher education division of the planning commission, where she conducted a preliminary analysis of a nation-wide survey called the Changing Academic Profession Survey. She has lso interned with National Federation for Indian Women (NFIW), assessing the implementation of MGNREGA and NRHM in two districts of Maharashtra
