The authors interview many prominent young and dynamic politicians in India such as Priyanka Gandhi, Devendra Fadnavis, Rahul Gandhi, Milind Deora, Smriti Irani, Akhilesh Yadav, Omar Abdullah, Aditya Thakeray among others. The exercise taps into their brand of politics; local, national, and global concerns; challenges and goals, as well as the political future each of them imagines for their constituencies and the country. Through insights into these politicians and their journeys, the authors paint a picture of the course the young republic will take in decades to come.

The CPR-TCPD Dialogues on Indian Politics brings together academicians, policy and political practitioners, and civil society actors to grapple with important social and political issues in India. The CPR-TCPD Dialogues leverages the unique strengths of these two institutions to provide rigorous and innovative commentary on India’s social and political challenges.
