Major Findings:
* The State-wise performance in Performance Grading Index (PGI) 2018-19 compared to PGI 2017-18 shows that 34 States and UTs have improved their PGI score in 2018-19 compared to the previous year.
* 3 States and UTs, i.e., Chandigarh, Gujarat and Kerala, crossed the threshold of 85% PGI score and reached Grade I+. A total of 34 States and UTs have improved their total PGI score compared to 2017-18.
* Learning Outcome: Rajasthan was at the top (168/180) followed by Chandigarh, Karnataka and Jharkhand.
* Access: Kerala at the top followed by Haryana, Andhra Pradesh and Delhi.
* Infrastructure Facilities: Goa at the top followed by Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab
* Equity: Delhi at the top followed by Dadar and Nagar Haveli, West Bengal, and Gujarat
* Governance Process: Gujarat at the top followed by Chandigarh, Kerala and Odisha
