Centre for Policy Research is organising a talk by Hon’ble Douglas Roche, O.C. on  A Future without Nuclear Weapons .    Senator Roche’s on a global speaking tour of 10 countries, giving lectures based, generally, on the content of his new book, “How We Stopped Loving the Bomb,” and to meet with foreign ministries at high levels to discuss the UN Secretary-General’s Five-Point Plan, with special reference to a Nuclear Weapons Convention or framework of instruments, and present a new Brief on behalf of the Middle Powers Initiative giving MPI’s view on how governments should proceed to prepare now for negotiations toward a global legal ban on nuclear weapons
