He will not be able to reach on time in Delhi.  Hence, his talk on “The Future of US-Pakistan Relations” scheduled for Friday, 9 September 2011 at 11.30 a.m. has been cancelled. ***********************************************Centre for Policy Research (CPR) is organizing a talk by Bruce Riedel, Senior Fellow, Saban Center for Middle East Policy and former CIA Officer on: The Future of US-Pakistan Relations Bruce Riedel is a Senior Fellow of Foreign Policy at the Saban Center for Middle East Policy, Brookings Institution.  A former CIA officer, Bruce Riedel focuses on political transition, terrorism and conflict resolution. He was a senior advisor to three U.S. presidents on Middle East and South Asian issues. At the request of President Obama he chaired an interagency review of policy toward Afghanistan and Pakistan for the White House that was completed in March 2009. Riedel’s latest book, Deadly Embrace: Pakistan, America and the Future of the Global Jihad was recently featured by David Sanger in an article in The New York Times.
