Beginning this July, The Politics Initiative at CPR started a conversation series – “How India votes: 24 conversations in the run-up to the 2024 elections” – moderated by CPR Fellow Rahul Verma.

The first conversation was “How to Study Indian Elections”, which outlined the important factors that shape voting behaviour in India. The video of this conversation can be accessed here. The second conversation in the series was on “What data tells us about Indian Politics”, which focused on how public opinion polls and constituency-level data helps us in understanding complexities of Indian politics.
