India is among the fastest urbanising regions in the world, and the interdisciplinary interrogation of urbanisation processes in India promises to yield new theoretical insights. This workshop covers wide-ranging quantitative and qualitative work on the National Capital Region around Delhi (Delhi-NCR), making specific reference to a novel survey of 5500 households in the region.

Please join us for what promises to be an enlightening workshop that discusses the nuances of social, economic, and political life in this complex region.

For a selection of analyses from the survey, please see the materials from the panel series hosted by CPR at AAS in Asia here.

For outputs and reports from the Cities of Delhi project, please see here.
