Anirvan Chowdhury was a Research Analyst at the Accountability Initiative (AI) at CPR. He designed and implemented PAISA 2011, a public expenditure tracking survey in education across India, and analysed resulting data. He also led survey execution in three (of seven) states; coordinated project progression with government officials, NGO partners, and AI’s district representatives and led AI’s public finance studies.
Chowdhury is a PhD student at the Department of Political Science at University of California, Berkeley. He holds a Masters in Public Policy from McCourt School of Public Policy, Georgetown University and a Masters in Science, Economics from Madras School of Economics.
