Easwaran J. Narassimhan was an Associate Professor at the Centre for Policy Research and a Faculty Affiliate at The Fletcher School, Tufts University. Easwaran works on green industrialization and energy transition in emerging economies. Easwaran has previously worked on a variety of topics, including identifying pathways for socio-economically gainful deep decarbonization in India, employment and economic implications of a low-carbon transition, the role of carbon pricing in an energy transition, and the role of technology-specific industrial policies in accelerating clean energy diffusion. Prior to CPR, Easwaran was a postdoctoral fellow in Science, Technology, and Public Policy at Harvard Kennedy School. Easwaran holds a Ph.D. in International Affairs from The Fletcher School, Tufts University.
