Jagannath Mohanta

FIELD RESEARCHER

Jagannath Mohanta is a Field Researcher with the Environmental Justice program where he studies impacts of implementation of environment laws on the lives of tribal communities in mining areas in Odisha. He is interested in understanding how the life and culture of tribal communities have changed due prolonged pollution impacts and understanding what the future holds for them. He has previously worked in microfinance.

Jagannath has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Acharya Nagarjuna University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from a deem university in Allahabad.
