Nancy D Cruz was a Research Associate at CPR working with the Governance and Public Policy Initiative (GPPI). GPPI focuses on fundamental issues of Governance and Public Policy by directly engaging with legislators. She currently coordinates the domestic programs of GPPI, as well as assists in the execution of the external outreach academic programs for parliamentarians in collaboration universities abroad.
Prior to CPR, Nancy worked at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Contemporary Studies as a Research Assistant (RAL program) carrying out research and policy development on contemporary challenges facing India. She has also interned with NASSCOM Foundation, Centre for Legislative Research and Advocacy and SaveLIFE Foundation in the areas of policy research, advocacy and communications. She has keen interest in interdisciplinary approach to research and advocacy.
She holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science (Honours) from Jesus & Mary College, University of Delhi.
