Snehal Shah was a Senior Researcher at the Accountability Initiative (AI).
Snehal has more than twenty years of professional experience spanning thematic areas of gender, education, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), natural resources and empowerment. She has worked as a policy researcher and program evaluation consultant for various donors, implementers, academia and research organisations including the Water & Sanitation Program of the World Bank, Education Development Trust – The Open University (UK), TESS-India of British Council, UN Women, Wada Na Todo Abhiyan, Right to Education Forum, Azad Foundation, Centre for Media Studies, NR Management Consultants, Vidya Bhawan Education Resource Centre and the Foundation for Ecological Security et al.
Her interest areas are Sustainable Development Goals, gender, equity and governance.
A Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from the University of Mumbai, Snehal also holds an MA in Social Work from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (Mumbai).
