Swati is an Architect – Urban Planner . She graduated in Architecture from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur and has a masters degree in Environment Planning from CEPT University, Ahmedabad. At CPR, She was a part of the ‘Scaling City Institutions for India: Sanitation (SCI-FI)’. She was involved in the Project NIRMAL based in Odisha and a study on ‘The evolution of Housing Typologies and sanitation services’, Udaipur. She likes to express her ideas on urban sanitation issues through spatial maps and visually appealing, easy to understand info-graphics. Prior to this she was working with CDD Society (Consortium for DEWATS Dissemination), Bangalore, where she worked on preparation of City Sanitation Plans for Thiruvannamalai & Ooty and Implementation of CSP Shimla. She was also a part of the project aimed at ‘Strengthening and Empowering Urban Local Authorities to deliver Decentralised Sanitation Services’,a European Union Project based in Himachal Pradesh.
