Vidisha Mehta

FORMER RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

Vidisha was a former Research Associate at the State Capacity Initiative at CPR. She was part of the CPR’s Covid-19 research group, assisting the government of Punjab with data analysis and developing a testing strategy.

Her research interest lies at the intersection gender, labour and social policy. Most recently, she is has also been part of a project that studies female labour force participation in North India. In particular, she has been working to understand how intrahousehold kinship structures limit female mobility and labour force participation. She has an undergraduate degree in Public Policy with a minor in Statistics from Princeton University.
