Tanvi Tomar

FORMER RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

Tanvi Tomar was a former Research Associate at CPR and is a part of the ‘Scaling City Institutions for India’ (Sci-Fi) Project. She is currently engaged in the ‘Partnering for Mewar’ Project which aims at managing environment through waste reuse (Faecal Sludge Management) in the State of Rajasthan.

Prior to joining CPR, she has briefly worked with Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Rurban Mission, Government of Madhya Pradesh. Appointed as a Young Professional in the mission, her work domain revolved around conducting a ground level assessment study primarily focusing on existing gap analysis and identifying the potentials of the cluster.

Tanvi was trained as an architect at Aayojan School of Architecture, Jaipur and has practiced for a year post obtaining the degree. Following that, she obtained a Masters in Environmental Planning degree from School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal. Her area of interest revolves around exploring the impact of spatial changes on the ecosystems, ascertaining how these changes impact the services provided and the existing policy support for it.
