Vaibhav was a Research Associate with the Politics Initiative at CPR. His research interests include political economy, comparative politics as well as contemporary South Asia. He is currently working on a project studying the trajectories of India’s political parties, as well as conducting analysis on questions related to electoral outcomes, welfare benefits and socio-economic attitudes among India’s population.
Prior to joining CPR, Vaibhav graduated from Ashoka University, with an undergraduate degree in Political Science, along with a minor in Economics. He further received a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Research for completing an advanced major in Political Science, writing his dissertation on the political impacts of farm loan waivers in state elections.
