Aditya was a Senior Research Associate at the State Capacity Initiative at CPR. He is currently engaged with a study of behavioural norms and organisational culture of the bureaucracy, particularly the IAS. He is also working on a history of administrative reform, with a view to tracing important debates, identifying major departures and examining the core assumptions informing these discussions.
Prior to joining CPR, Aditya worked as a development practitioner with Swaniti Initiative. This included stints providing technical support to the State Government of Manipur on Direct Benefit Transfer schemes and policy engagement support to CSO coalitions combating human trafficking. He completed his Integrated Master’s in Development Studies from IIT Madras, with a minor in Economics.
