Aman Srivastava is a Fellow at the Centre for Policy Research. Aman’s research interests are in the areas of energy and climate policy, specifically the socioeconomic impacts of climate mitigation measures, climate finance tracking and governance, and energy consumption behaviors. He is also serving as visiting faculty at the School of Public Policy, Indian Institute of Technology: Delhi.
Previously, Aman was a Research Associate (Climate Finance) and subsequently Lead Economist (Climate) at the World Resources Institute. He served as a chapter author for the UNFCCC Standing Committee on Finance’s 2016 Biennial Assessment and Overview of Climate Finance Flows report. He has also been associated - in various capacities - with Vivid Economics, the World Trade Organization, Indicus Analytics, and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Aman holds a PhD in energy and behavioral economics from the University of Antwerp, an MSc in finance and development from the University of London, an MBA in finance from the Indian Institute of Management: Lucknow, and a BA (Honours) in economics from the University of Delhi.
